Abstract

Procedimiento para sellar un material pétreo poroso. El procedimiento consiste en la precipitación de un compuesto insoluble que se deposita sobre una de las superficies de dicho material pétreo poroso y/o dentro del sistema poroso interno de dicho material pétreo poroso, produciéndose dicho compuesto insoluble mediante una reacción química de precipitación como consecuencia del movimiento de los cationes y aniones constituyentes de dicho compuesto insoluble a través de dicho material pétreo poroso, al someter a éste a la acción de un campo eléctrico en el interior de un reactor electroquímico. Esta migración forzada permite sellar el material pétreo poroso mediante una reacción de precipitación directa de un compuesto insoluble. De aplicación en construcción y decoración.
