Abstract

Mecanismo de expansión radial para la fijación ósea de plastias de ligamentos cruzados de la rodilla. Consiste en una pieza de forma cilíndrica (1) de tres tramos diferenciados, con hueco coaxial longitudinal interno, roscado en el tramo inferior y disponiendo en los otros dos tramos de 4 ranuras longitudinales uniformemente separadas, que atraviesan completamente la pared cilíndrica. En cada ranura se sitúa una pieza (2), con perfil en I de alas curvas y de diferentes tamaños, cuya alma dispone en su tramo inferior de un pequeño bisel. El tramo superior de la pieza cilíndrica (1) dispone de rosca en su exterior para enroscar una tapa en forma de bellota (3). Un tornillo cilíndrico macizo roscado (4), con hexágono interior en cabeza y punta rebajada, según avanza por el interior de (1), expande radialmente las piezas (2) y aprisiona y fija la plastia contra la pared ósea sin dañar a aquella.
