Abstract

Tapacubos o embellecedor para ruedas, para ser encajado elásticamente a presión sobre una llanta de rueda (23), con un anillo elástico (1) fabricado de alambre, que está configurado prácticamente como polígono casi regular, estando por lo menos una parte de las esquinas (9) o las zonas de esquina del anillo elástico poligonal (1) sujeta en soportes elásticos radialmente (14, 14¿, 14¿¿) del tapacubos (11) para hacer que el tapacubos o el embellecedor (11) pueda ser encajado elásticamente en un rebaje, por ejemplo con forma de anillo, realizado en la llanta de la rueda, y porque las esquinas y las zonas de esquina (9) están apoyadas en forma giratoria alrededor del eje del alambre en los soportes (14, 14¿, 14¿¿), y/o el anillo elástico está interrumpido por lo menos en una parte de las esquinas o en las zonas de esquina, de manera que, en caso de una fuerza que actúe radialmente desde fuera sobre las esquinas o sobre las zonas deesquina, se pueda realizar, además del movimiento radial resultante hacia adentro del anillo elástico (1), otro movimiento axial del anillo elástico o bien de los segmentos del anillo elástico situados individualmente entre las esquinas o las zonas de esquina.
