Abstract

Medidor de longitud para medir in situ la longitud de la varilla de agua en los haces de elementos de combustible nuclear y los procedimientos para dicha medición. El medidor de longitud incluye una varilla estándar alargada, un bloque indicador de posición que lleva incorporado un medidor así como un bloque indicador de calibración. El bloque de calibración se aplicará al bloque de posición, mientras que el medidor será puesto a cero a una distancia conocida, existente entre el elemento móvil situado en el medidor y una superficie de referencia. Las varillas de agua se montarán sobre una placa de anclaje y el medidor se utilizará para medir la longitud de las varillas de agua de longitud ajustable. El bloque de posición alojará, en un receso, una parte de la barra de anclaje de la varilla de agua. La varilla estándar se traba con la placa de anclaje mientras que el pasador del medidor se trabará con el extremo opuesto de dicha varilla estándar. Cualquier desviación de la longitud de la varilla de agua respecto a la longitud de diseño, se señalará en el medidor.
