LA INVENCION SE REFIERE A UN PROCEDIMIENTO EN DOS FASES Y A UN APARATO PARA CONTROLAR EL GRADO DE CRAQUEO EN EL EFLUENTE PROCEDENTE DE UN HORNO DE CRAQUEO, COMO UNA TORRE DE CRAQUEO DE ETILENO. DICHO PROCEDIMIENTO INCLUYE DOS FASES. LA PRIMERA FASE CONSISTE EN DETERMINAR EL ESPECTRO EN EL INFRARROJO PROXIMO DE UN EFLUENTE EN LINEA. LA SEGUNDA CONSISTE EN CAMBIAR LA TEMPERATURA O UNA COMBINACION DE ESTA Y DEL TIEMPO DE RESIDENCIA EN EL HORNO, SEGUN LA DETERMINACION DE LA PRIMERA FASE.
