Abstract

Util para el arranque de virutas, compuesto por un cuerpo básico (1) del útil y una o varias piezas insertadas (5) de corte, el cuerpo básico (1) del útil con uno o varios asientos de placas en cada caso con una superficie (3) de contacto y una o varias superficies laterales (4) de apoyo para alojar una pieza insertada (5) de corte intercambiable con al menos una superficie libre cilíndrica o en forma de cono truncado por secciones, donde la pieza insertada (5) de corte presenta en la superficie libre o en una sección (11), colindante con la superficie libre, varias muescas laterales (6) en forma de tejado con una superficie plana (7) de referencia en cada caso y puede colocarse en distintas posiciones definidas previamente mediante un tope (8), dispuesto de manera que sobresale del cuerpo básico (1) del útil y apoyado con su extremo (9) en una superficie (7) de referencia, caracterizado porque la superficie cilíndrica o en forma de cono truncado sirve como superficie de contacto con la o las superficies laterales (4) de apoyo, porque las respectivas superficies (7) de referencia están inclinadas en un ángulo de entre 5 y 20 con respecto a una perpendicular (N) hacia la superficie básica (10) de la pieza insertada (5) de corte y porque la línea secante entre una superficie (7) de referencia y la superficie básica (10) encierra con la respectiva línea del diámetro (D), respecto a la superficie libre cilíndrica o en forma de cono truncado, un ángulo () en el intervalo de entre 15 y 45 que corta el extremo interno radial de esta línea secante.
