Abstract

Ladrillo de arcilla refractaria utilizado como base para un baño de estaño que comprende un sistema de aluminio-silicio con regiones finas y groseras. El ladrillo de arcilla refractaria se fabrica con un material del sistema Al{sub,2}O{sub,3}-SiO{sub,2} que comprende una región de granos finos de menos de 0,075 mm con más de un 65% en peso de SiO{sub,2} y menos del 35% en peso de Al{sub,2}O{sub,3}, que sirve una oferta aumentada de álcali y ácido silícico para formar una fase vítrea en la región de granos finos a través de una Al{sub,2}O{sub,3} diminuida. El material tiene una región de granos gruesos de más de 1500 mm con menos el 65% en peso de SiO{sub,2} y más del 35% en peso de Al{sub,2}O{sub,3}.
