Abstract
Método para hidroformar una pieza con un perfil cerrado en una herramienta divisible al introducir un fluido a presión en dicha pieza, caracterizado por el hecho de que la herramienta se mantiene fría, se calienta una pieza de acero templable a una temperatura de templado, se coloca en la herramienta y se somete a presión de modo que se forma al entrar en contacto con dicha herramienta, y se mantiene en contacto con dicha herramienta y con el fluido a presión durante el tiempo suficiente como para permitir que se endurezca antes de eliminarlo de la herramienta, dicha formación produciéndose tan rápidamente que la pieza no tiene tiempo de endurecerse al entrar en contacto con el fluido a presión.
