Abstract

Hydrogen and oxygen liberated are sent to a fuel cell, to free the electrolyte of gases and to recover energy. An Independent claim is included for corresponding equipment, including the electrolytic cell (11) with electrodes (17, 20), supply- and two separate return pipes (3132,33) respectively the latter for recirculated catholyte and anolyte. These lead separately to the cathode and anode chambers of a fuel cell (13). A conventional DC source supports the process.
