Abstract

La invención concierne a un procedimiento para separar iones metálicos absorbidos sobre una resina, que consiste en: suspender o percolar la resina de intercambio catiónico cargada con un disolvente polar que contiene un agente de elución o un mezcla de agentes de elución con al menos un ligando orgánico o mineral, que hace más complejos los iones metálicos a separar; hacer circular una corriente eléctrica continua, constante o no, formando en la solución de elución cargada un electrolito a fin de recuperar al menos un metal por deposición; y finalmente repetir, si es necesario, la última etapa constituyendo uno o varios cátodo(s) hechos de otro metal y reajustando el potencial del cátodo y la diferencia de potencial ánodo/cátodo a nuevos valores, dependiendo del nuevo tipo de metal a recuperar. La invención concierne también a una instalación para tratar/reciclar residuos de baño fotográfico que comprende un intercambiador (2, 2'') conectado a un depósito (3) para el baño de residuos a tratar, a un depósito (4) para el baño de residuos tratado, a un depósito (5) para solución de regeneración y a una cuba de electrolisis (6).
