The invention concerns a gas regulator-reducing valve (1) connected to a gas supply conduit (2) and a gas discharge conduit (3) and comprising a vent (4) connecting it to atmospheric pressure. The regulator-reducing valve (1) is arranged inside a sealed chamber (5) buried in the ground (6), the vent (4) of said regulator-reducing valve (1) emerging freely inside the chamber (5) and the latter being connected to the open air (7) by a conduit (8) with relatively small cross-section.
