Abstract

Procedimiento para tapar latas (4) que presentan una parte superior formada por el extremo superior sustancialmente plano (412) de la lata, su cuello superior frustocónico (413) y el reborde circular (414) que une el extremo superior plano al cuello, que comprende las etapas de disponer una parte de una película (91) de material de plástico termoconformable sobre la parte superior de la lata (4) en contacto con el borde superior de su reborde (414), para determinar una cámara cerrada en combinación con dicho borde superior del reborde; calentar la película (91) a una temperatura adecuada de forma que dicha película pueda satisfacer las condiciones para la termoconformabilidad; extraer el aire de dicha cámara; adhiriéndose a continuación la película, mediante su endurecimiento que sigue al enfriamiento, estrechamente a la superficie del extremo superior de la lata (412) que tapa y conserva su forma, caracterizado porqueel aire es extraído de dicha cámara mediante la acción de empuje ejercida por un chorro de aire comprimido sobre la parte superior de la lámina que tapa la parte superior de las latas.
