Abstract

The double-lock cylinder comprises two halves or one half and a mounting component. Each half consists of a round cylinder from which protrudes a radial rib with semicircular radius, and the halves are joined by a solid bridge-piece (8). The bridge-piece consists of a cylindrical bolt, whose radius is roughly equal to curvature (16) of the rib (7), and it has axial holding bosses (11) towards the cylinder end faces (10). The bolt fits in a locking recess (18) of the same radius in the rib, and the recess extends towards the outside for at least one-third of the length of the cylinder half from the inner surface (15) of the latter. A bore (17) for the locking boss extends from the recess.
