Abstract

Sistema de retransmisión de acontecimientos en salas de espectáculo, destinado a su utilización por parte de invidentes, que permite que éstos puedan disfrutar de espectáculos, en virtud de la narración de las imágenes y escenas, así como proporcionando información, en otros espacios, para orientar y guiar de manera segura al invidente. El sistema que dispone de un lector que lee de un dispositivo (CD, DVD, mini-disc, etc.) donde está grabada la información que debe llegar al usuario. Este lector manda la información a un amplificador de infrarrojos que trata la señal de audio, la transforma en señal de infrarrojos y la amplifica para transmitirla a uno o más transmisores de infrarrojos. Las ondas transmitidas por el emisor son captadas por el receptor del usuario que las convierte en sonido para transmitirlas a través del auricular. En el caso de los espectáculos, la narración está perfectamente sincronizada con la banda sonora original de la película, utilizándose los espacios muertos para ello y evitando de esta manera los diálogos de los acompañantes, en el caso de cine o teatro.
