Abstract

Convertidor de plasma de combustibles fósiles en un gas rico en hidrógeno El convertidor de plasma de combustibles fósiles en un gas rico en hidrógeno, comprende un calentador, una cámara de mezcla, un reactor, unidos en serie, y una fuente de energía de microondas (MW) para el reactor. En el reactor tiene lugar una descarga de MW de impulso periódica que proporciona un proceso plasma-catalítico de conversión del combustible a baja temperatura. El convertidor permite llevar a cabo las reacciones de conversión con vapor, vapor-aire y oxidación parcial con aire u oxigeno para obtener el gas rico en hidrógeno. El convertidor puede utilizarse en motores de combustión interna de vehículos de transporte o en sistemas estacionarios para la producción de gas rico en hidrógeno.
