Abstract

Proceso de preparación de un microcompuesto poroso que comprende un polímero altamente fluorado intercambiador de iones que contiene grupos funcionales de sulfonato colgantes, estando dicho polímero en forma de partículas agregadas atrapadas dentro de una estructura reticular de sílice y dispersadas por toda ella, siendo de un 0,1 a un 90 por ciento el porcentaje en peso del polímero perfluorado intercambiador de iones en el microcompuesto; comprendiendo dicho proceso los pasos de: a) preparar una composición líquida que consta esencialmente de agua y un polímero altamente fluorado intercambiador de iones que contiene grupos funcionales de sulfonato colgantes; b) poner a dicha composición líquida en contacto con una solución que consta esencialmente de agua y un silicato seleccionado de entre los miembros del grupo que consta de silicato sódico, silicato amónico, silicato potásico y cualquier combinación de los mismos; c) dejar que el silicato forme una estructura reticular de sílice; y d)recuperar el microcompuesto poroso.
