Abstract

Lightening structure for two-way slabs. A range of box-section grooved pieces (1) are used in this structure, internally in accordance with the section planned for the slab ribs and the side walls (3), which have a relatively reduced thickness, as with its base, being of a length coinciding with the distance between slab lattice axes and also having orthogonally angled ends (5), which allow lattice coupling between the pieces (1) so that on each node of the truss, four ends (5) meet, establishing uninterrupted communication between the channels (4). This lattice structure is defined by both empty spaces, corresponding to its cells, where independent caissons (15) are subsequently attached. For greater stability in their assembly, the grooved pieces (1) have tongue and groove (6-7) applications at their ends and for fixing the framework they have support measures (9) and (12), both at the lower end and the top. This structure allows for the grooved pieces (1) to be obtained from moulds and the caissons (15) from cutting and as a result allows for the establishment of two-way slabs with 80 x 80 cm grids, which are the most suitable dimensions.
