Abstract

Dispositivo para la realización de medidas respirométricas de líquidos que contengan materia orgánica, caracterizado por el empleo de membranas permeables a gases como soporte para la biomasa y como parte del sistema de oxigenación. La oxigenación se produce a través de la membrana directamente a la biopelícula adherida a la misma. La determinación de la tasa de respiración se realiza midiendo la cantidad de oxígeno que se transfiere a través de la membrana y corrigiendo el efecto del oxígeno disuelto en el afluente.
