Abstract

Water heating device for de-icing the windshield of a motor vehicle. It includes a tubular section made of a material that is partially conductive and that can be heated by the passing an electrical current through it, inserted into the duct of the water sent by the pump of the windshield wiper mechanism. The power supply, coming from the alternator of the vehicle to the heating duct, is regulated using an electronic circuit that includes a controller that controls the operation of the water pump and a current transistor.
