LA INVENCION HACE REFERENCIA AL PROCEDIMIENTO PARA LA FABRICACION DE MOLDES CON UNA CAPA DE BARRERA, EN ESPECIAL MOLDES DE ENVASES, DE MATERIAL BIODEGRADABLE MEDIANTE LA UTILIZACION DE UNA MASA VISCOSA, QUE CONTIENE MATERIAL FIBROSO BIODEGRADABLE EN UNA MEZCLA DE FIBRAS DE DISTINTAS LONGITUDES, AGUA Y ALMIDON. EL MATERIAL COMPUESTO FORMADO POR MATERIAL FIBROSO Y ALMIDON ES POSTERIORMENTE SOMETIDO A COCCION. SE HACE REFERENCIA TAMBIEN A LOS MOLDES OBTENIDOS POR ESTE PROCEDIMIENTO. TRAS LA COCCION SE IMPREGNA EL MOLDE DE FORMA HIDROFOBA CON ACETATO DE CELULOSA O PROPIONATO DE ACETATO DE CELULOSA SIN EMOLIENTE O CON UN RECUBRIMIENTO EN FORMA DE PELICULA DE POLIESTER, POLIESTERAMIDA O POLIACIDO LACTICO O SE REALIZA UNA IMPREGNACION DE LA MASA VISCOSA TRAS LA COCCION, QUE LE PROPORCIONA PROPIEDADES HIDROFOBAS.
