SE PRESENTA UN PROCESO PARA RECICLAR MATERIALES ELASTOMERICOS POLIMERIZADOS MEDIANTE AZUFRE QUE COMPRENDE LA MASTICACION DE LOS MATERIALES ELASTOMERICOS A TEMPERATURAS POR DEBAJO DE 50 (GRADOS) C CON UNA NUEVA MEZCLA QUIMICA QUE ES CAPAZ DE INICIAR EL INTERCAMBIO DE PROTONES DE FORMA CONTROLADA Y POR LO TANTO DE ABRIR O DESUNIR LA RED VULCANIZADA DE LOS MATERIALES ELASTOMERICOS. LA NUEVA MEZCLA QUIMICA SE HACE A PARTIR DE SAL DE ZINC DE DIMETILDITIOCARBAMATO Y DE MERCAPTOBENZOTIAZOLA EN LA PROPORCION MOLAR EN LA BANDA DE ENTRE 1:1 Y 1:12 DISPERSA EN DIOLES EN LA PRESENCIA DE ACIDO ESTEARICO, OXIDO DE ZINC Y AZUFRE. ESTA MEZCLA QUE PUEDE DENOMINARSE "DELINK" CUANDO SE MEZCLA CON TROZOS DESMENUZADOS DE NEUMATICOS O CUALQUIER OTRO MATERIAL VULCANIZADO EN CONCENTRACIONES DE SEIS PARTES DE AMALGAMADOR POR CIEN PARTES DE MIGAJAS DE GOMA DESUNE LA RED VULCANIZADA Y DEJA EL COMPUESTO LISTO PARA SU MOLDEADO Y VULCANIZACION.
