Abstract
Equipment and procedure to carry out the electrolytic extraction of metals in solution in an electrolytic cell. The kit comprises at least one cathode and at least one anode insoluble in an electrolytic solution, characterized in that it further comprises at least one magnet arranged on the outside of said electrolytic cell on the side corresponding to said cathode. The procedure consists of supplying direct current to the electrolytic cell; and approaching at least one magnet arranged on the outside to a distance "d" from the cathode, the metal in solution being deposited on said cathode. When the anode is hydrogen diffusion, the procedure comprises an additional step, after current supply, which consists of feeding hydrogen gas through said anode, a lower energy consumption is achieved during the electrowinning of metals in solution, in addition to improving the quality of the deposit due to the presence of a magnetic field.
