LA INVENCION SE REFIERE A UNA TRANSICION DE GUIA OPTICA Y SU METODO DE FABRICACION, PARA PERMITIR EL ACOPLAMIENTO DE UNA GUIA LLAMADA N "CINTA ENTERRADA" UNA GUIA LLAMADA EN "CINTA GRABADA". LA ESTRUCTURA DE LA TRANSICION SE REALIZA DURANTE LA GRABACION DE UNA CAPA QUE CONTIENE LA GUIA DE CITAN ENTERRADA, ESTANDO LA ZONA DE TRANSICION CONSTITUIDA POR UN ALARGAMIENTO ADIABATICO DE LAS DIMENSIONES LATERALES DE LA GUIA ENTERRADA. UNAS CAPAS SUPERFICIALES ESTAN COLOCADAS SOBRE LA CINTA DE TRANSICION Y SU ESTRUCTURA ENSANCHADA EN LA ZONA DE TRANSICION, Y LA GUIA GRABADA SE FABRICA CON UNA PARTE QUE SE EXTIENDE POR ENCIMA DE LA ZONA DE TRANSICION.EL ACOPLAMIENTO DE LOS MODOS DE PROPAGACION RESPECTIVOS EN LA CINTA ENTERRADA Y LA CINTA GRABADA SE HACE POR ADAPTACION DE LOS MODOS EN LA REGION ENTRE AS DOS ESTRUCTURAS GUIADORAS EN LA ZONA DE TRANSICION. LA REALIZACION DE LA TRANSICION DE LA INVENCION SE EFECTUA EN DOS ETAPAS DE EPITAXIA CLASICA.
