PARA ELLO SE DISUELVEN OXIDOS DE BIS[TRIALQUILESTAÑO] EN UN DISOLVENTE NO SOLUBLE, O PARCIALMENTE SOLUBLE, EN AGUA Y SE HACEN REACCIONAR CON UNA SOLUCION ACUOSA DE NABH4 ESTABILIZADA CON UNA BASE. EL PRODUCTO SE EXTRAE POR SEPARACION DE FASES Y, EVENTUALMENTE, SE DESTILA. EL HIDRURO DE TRIALQUILESTAÑO SE AISLA CON UN RENDIMIENTO CASI CUANTITATIVO, CON UN CONTENIDO EN HIDRURO > 95 %.
