LAS RESISTENCIAS LIMITADORAS DE SOBRECARGA RESULTANTES SE CARACTERIZAN POR SU CAPACIDAD PARA DISIPAR SOBRECARGAS TRANSITORIAS Y REPETIDAS DE TENSION EN VOLTAJE Y DURACION CREADAS POR EL ENCENDIDO CON MENOS DE UN CAMBIO DEL 0.05% EN LA RESISTENCIA DE LA LAMINA.
