UN PROCESO CONTINUO PARA NITRAR UN COMPUESTO AROMATICO QUE PUEDA SOMETERSE A ESE PROCESO EN UNA SOLUCION DE ION DE NITRONIO EN UN NITRANTE. EL PROCESO INCLUYE LA ALIMENTACION EN LA SOLUCION NITRANTE DE ION DE NITRONIO DE UNA COMPOSICION DENTRO DE UN AREA DEFINIDA CONECTANDO TRES PUNTOS EN UN DIAGRAMA DE FASE TERNARIA DE ACIDO NITRICO, ACIDO SULFURICO Y AGUA. LOS TRES PUNTOS CORRESPONDEN EL PRIMERO A UN 82% APROXIMADAMENTE DE ACIDO SULFURICO Y 18% DE ACIDO NITRICO, EN SEGUNDO LUGAR A UN 55% DE ACIDO SULFURICO Y 45% DE AGUA, Y POR ULTIMO, 100% DE ACIDO SULFURICO. EL COMPUESTO AROMATICO QUE SE VA A NITRAR SE INTRODUCE EN LA SOLUCION DE ION DE NITRONIO MEDIANTE UN INYECTOR DE PULVERIZACION CAPAZ DE CREAR UNA FINA EMULSION DE HIDROCARBURO EN LA SOLUCION DE ION DE NITRONIO CON EL HIDROCARBURO DISTRIBUIDO UNIFORMEMENTE EN LA FASE ACIDA . EL ACIDO Y EL COMPUESTO AROMATICO QUE SE VA A NITRAR SE PONEN EN CONTACTO EN UN NITRANTE DE CIRCULACION DE CORRIENTE QUE CONTIENE ELEMENTOS MEZCLADORES.
