LA FORMULACION PREFERIDA CONTIENE ALREDEDOR DE UNO POR CIENTO EN PESO DE NICLOSAMIDA, 40 A 55 POR CIENTO EN PESO DE GLICOL PROPILENO Y UNO 20 A 30 POR CIENTO EN PESO DE ETANOL AL 95%, 20 A 25% EN PESO DE GLICOL POLIETILENO 400 Y DE APROXIMADAMENTE 0,1 A 10% EN PESO DE AGUA. ESTA FORMULACION CONSTITUYE UNA BARRERA EFECTIVA SOBRE LA PIEL, IMPIDIENDO LA PENETRACION DE SCHISTOSOMA CERCACIAE, EL ESTADO INFECCIOSO DEL CICLO DE VIDA DEL PARASITO.
