Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide an easy-to-manufacture transmission coupling body by providing a connecting system with a connecting handle section to which a securing body constituting a connecting system portion received into a filler material is connected. CONSTITUTION: A bowl-shaped housing 10 comprises a connecting handle section 12, a casing 14 having a cylindrical outer peripheral surface 16 coaxial with the axis X-X of the connecting handle section 12, and three rolling paths distributed at an angle of 120 deg. to one another. An internal space radially sectioned by the peripheral surface 24 of the casing 14 and the opposing surfaces of the tracks is filled with a filler material 34. The connecting handle section 12 constitutes a connecting system between a torque-transmitting member connected to a pan-shaped securing body 36 and the bowl-shaped housing 10. The end portion 52 of the connecting handle section 12 has an open axial dent 54 with a diameter matching that of a hole 50. The annular end face 56 of the connecting handle section 12 is fixed by welding to the outer surface 58 of the lateral bottom 38 of the pan-shaped securing body 36. The outer surface 58 of the lateral bottom 38 extends substantially in alignment with the axial end face of the casing 14.
