Abstract

PURPOSE: To make a resin coated pipe and a conventional plug unnecessary by fitting, via a packing, a resin coated plug body to a resin-coated joint body whose outer peripheral surface is coated with a resin except a thread portion at one end, and fixing the same by a resin-coated pressing and an abutting member. CONSTITUTION: An inner peripheral surface is a tapered face whose diameter increases towards the tip portion, and an outer peripheral surface is coated with a resin except an external thread portion provided at an end. A packing 2 contacts the tapered face of the inner peripheral surface of a main body 1. A resin-coated plug body 4 is fit to the inner peripheral face of the packing 2. Subsequently, a resin coated pressing and abutting member 5, which is in the shape of a nut having an internal thread at an end of its inner peripheral face and presses a side face of a retainer 3 so as to press the packing 2 to abut on the tapered face of the resin coated joint body 1, is thread-connected to the resin coated joint body 1.
