EL PROCESO COMPRENDE LOS PASOS DE: (I) PONER EN CONTACTO EL FLUIDO CON UN MATERIAL ABSORBENTE DETERMINADO; (II) PERMITIR AL MATERIAL ABSORBENTE ABSORBER AL CONTAMINANTE QUIMICO, PARA PRODUCIR UN FLUIDO ESENCIALMENTE PURIFICADO Y UN MATERIAL ABSORBENTE TRANSPORTADOR DE CONTAMINANTE; (III) SEPARAR EL MATERIAL ABSORBENTE TRANSPORTADOR DEL CONTAMINANTE, DEL FLUIDO ESENCIALMENTE PURIFICADO; (IV) PONER EN CONTACTO EL MATERIAL ABSORBENTE TRANSPORTADOR DE CONTAMINANTE, CON UNA SUSPENSION ACUOSA DE OXIDO DE METAL FOTOCATALITICO EN POLVO, EN PRESENCIA DE UNA RADIACION ELECTROMAGNETICA ABSORBENTE DE ELECTRONES EN, AL MENOS, UNA DE LAS REGIONES DEL ULTRAVIOLETA VISIBLE; (V) PERMITIR AL DESCONTAMINANTE DESCOMPONERSE PARA FORMAR UN PRODUCTO QUE SE DISOCIE DEL MATERIAL ABSORBENTE TRANSPORTADOR DE CONTAMINANTE, PARA QUE RESULTE UN MATERIAL ABSORBENTE REGENERADO, LA SOLUCION ACUOSA Y EL PRODUCTO; (VI) SEPARANDO Y RECICLANDO EL MATERIAL ABSORBENTE REGENERADO, PARA LLEVARLO AL PASO (I); Y (VII) RECICLANDO LA SUSPENSION ACUOSA PARA LLEVARLA AL PASO (IV).
