Abstract

METODO PARA CONCENTRAR SUSPENSIONES DE MINERAL POR MEDIO DE ACONDICIONAMIENTO CON AGITACION INTENSIVA Y FLOTACION SIMULTANEA, ASI COMO EL APARATO PARA EL MISMO. LA PRESENTE INVENCION SE REFIERE A UN METODO PARA CONCENTRAR UNA CIERTA FRACCION DE MINERAL UNIDA A BURBUJAS DE AIRE DESDE UNA SUSPENSION A UNA CAPA DE ESPUMA ACUMULADA EN LA SUPERFICIE, DE TAL FORMA QUE TENGA LUGAR LA CONCENTRACION EN TRES ZONAS DE MEZCLAS DIFERENTES. EL APARATO DE LA INVENCION ESTA FORMADO POR UNA DISPOSICION DE FLOTACION A MODO DE COLON Y POR GUIAS DE FLUJO, UN ATENUADOR DE FLUJO Y UN AGITADOR PERTENECIENTE AL MISMO. LAS REACCIONES DE FLOTACION SE CREAN EN LA ZONA INFERIOR, DESDE LA CUAL LAS BURBUJAS DE AIRE Y LAS PARTICULAS DE MINERAL TRANSPORTADAS POR ELLAS SON DIRIGIDAS DE UNA MANERA CONTROLADA SOBRE LA SUPERFICIE DEL APARATO. EL APARATO DE FLOTACION ESTA CONCEBIDO DE TAL MANERA QUE SE PUEDA USAR UNA FUERTE AGITACION EN LA ZONA INFERIOR SIN PROVOCAR LA SEPARACION PERJUDICIAL DE LA ESPUMA EN LA PARTE INFERIOR DEL APARATO.
