LA INVENCION SE REFIERE A UN PROCESO Y DISPOSITIVO PARA TRATAR, EN PARTICULAR PARA DEPURAR, AGUA QUE CONTIENE ETILENOS HALOGENADOS, PREFERENTEMENTE AGUAS SUBTERRANEAS, PARA EL USO Y/O CONSUMO DE PERSONAS Y ANIMALES, EN QUE EL AGUA SE EXPONE A LA ACCION DEL OZONO Y A UNA RADIACION DE ALTA ENERGIA, EN PARTICULAR A UNA RADIACION IONIZANTE. EN UN TRATAMIENTO PRELIMINAR SE AÑADE OZONO AL AGUA Y/O SE MEZCLA ESTE CON AGUA DEL TIPO DE CALIDAD DE AGUA ESENCIALMENTE POTABLE EXCEPTO POR LOS CONSTITUYENTES DE ETILENO HALOGENADO ARRIBA MENCIONADOS Y/O SUSTANCIAS NOCIVAS Y/O AGUA POTABLE LLEVADA A ESTA CALIDAD, EN PARTICULAR AGUAS SUBTERRANEAS. EL AGUA CIRCULANTE SE IRRADIA ENTONCES CON ELECTRONES. LA CONCENTRACION DE OZONO EN EL AGUA ES TAL QUE, O ESTA AJUSTADA DE TAL MODO QUE, INMEDIATAMENTE DESPUES DE DEJAR LA REGION IRRADIADA, EL AGUA TIENE UNA CONCENTRACION DE OZONO DE AL MENOS 0,1 PPM.
