Abstract

PURPOSE:To efficiently remove noise disturbance of a switching regulator circuit to a cathode-ray tube display. CONSTITUTION:The flat CRT monitor is constituted by incorporating a power source consisting of a switching regulator and a flat cathode-ray tube 4 in one body. A switching power source transformer 1 and a horizontal deflecting coil are relatively arranged so that mutual interference between the external magnetic flux 7 of the transformer 1 and the external magnetic flux 8 of the coil becomes minimum. In concrete, the switching power source transformer 1 is arranged shifting in parallel from the center line of the horizontal deflecting coil at such an attitude that a straight line passing through the core gap 9 is directed to the center of deflection. In another way, the switching power source transformer may be arranged on the center line of the horizontal deflecting coil so that the core gap 9 crosses the center line at right angles.
