Abstract

PURPOSE:To compensate dynamic convergence easily with good accuracy, by providing a dynamic convergence compensation magnet having 4 sets of electromagnet coils at an electron gun, and adjusting the convergence with a current required for compensation stored in a memory. CONSTITUTION:A dynamic convergence compensation magnet 100 connected to a color shift compensation circuit 200 is arranged to an electron gun of a color CRT1 locating the electron gun in in-line. The magnet 100 is located with the 1st electromagnet coil 101 deflecting electron beams from the electron guns at both ends horizontally and mutually reversely, 2nd electromagnet coil 102 deflecting electron beams vertically and mutually reversely, and 3rd and 4th electromagnet coils 103 and 104 deflecting the electron beams horizontally and vertically toward the same direction. A current required for compensation stored in a memory provided in the circuit 200 flows to the coils 101-104 to compensate the position shift of the electron beams arriving on the display surface, allowing to compensate the dynamic convergence with good accuracy.
