PROCESO DE DEPURACION BIOLOGICA DE LAS AGUAS RESIDUALES QUE PERMITE O BIEN ASEGURAR UN TRATAMIENTO COMPLETO DE LA CONTAMINACION CARBONADA Y DE LA CONTAMINACION NITROGENADA EN EL CAUDAL NOMINAL, O BIEN LA ELIMINACION DE LA DEMANDA BIOLOGICA DE OXIGENO O DBO SOLAMENTE DURANTE UN AUMENTO IMPORTANTE DEL CAUDAL NOMINAL PARTICULARMENTE EN CASO DE LLUVIAS, APLICANDO BACTERIAS EN CULTIVOS FIJADOS CARACTERIZADO EN QUE CONSISTE EN UTILIZAR LAS MODIFICACIONES DEL MEDIOAMBIENTE, ES DECIR EL POTENCIAL DE OXIDORREDUCCION QUE DEPENDE DE LA PRESENCIA O DE LA AUSENCIA DE OXIGENO DISUELTO, Y LA COMPOSICION DEL AGUA EN CONTACTO CON LAS BACTERIAS, BIEN PARA MODIFICAR EL SISTEMA ENZIMATICO DE LA FLORA PRESENTE EN LA PELICULA BACTERIANA DEL CULTIVO FIJADO CON EL FIN DE ASIGNAR A LA ELIMINACION DEL DBO UN CULTIVO FIJADO QUE TRABAJABA HASTA ENTONCES EN LA DENITRIFICACION, BIEN PARA FAVORECER EN LA MISMA PELICULA BACTERIANA EL DESARROLLO DE LA FLORA MAS APROPIADA CON EL OBJETIVO DESEADO: ELIMINACION DEL DBO O NITRIFICACION.
