ESTRUCTURA DE FIBRA OPTICA SINTONIZABLE ELECTRICAMENTE QUE CONSTA DE UN TRAMO DE FIBRA OPTICA QUE INCLUYE DOS NUCLEOS OPTICOS DE UN SOLO MODO ESPACIADOS UNIFORMEMENETE (1,2) SITUADOS DENTRO DE UN RECUBRIMIENTO (4) COMUNPARA PROPORCIONAR DOS PASOS DE GUIA DE OPTICOS. LAS CARACTERISTICAS OPTICAS DE AL MENOS LOS NUCLEOS SON DIFERENTES PARA PROPORCIONAR DOS PASOS DE GUIA CON INDICES DE PROPAGACION CONSTANTES Y DIFERENTES, CUYOS VALORES COINCIDEN CON UNA LONGITUD DE ONDA PREDETERMINADA, DE FORMA QUE LA ENERGIA OPTICA DE LA LONGITUD DE ONDA SE TRANSFIERA REPETIDAMENTE DE UN NUCLEO A OTRO.
