EL PRODUCTO DESECANTE MAS APROPIADO ES GEL DE SILICE, EL CUAL SE PONE EN UNA CANTIDAD ENTRE 5-80% EN PESO REFERIDO AL PESO DEL ALIMENTO, Y ESTA PREFERENTEMENTE EN FORMA DE PARTICULAS FINAMENTE DIVIDIDAS. EL PRODUCTO DESECANTE PUEDE TAMBIEN PRESENTARSE ENCAPSULADO EN UN MATERIAL LAMINAR PLASTICO MICROPOROSO, PERMEABLE AL VAPOR DE AGUA.
