SE DESCRIBE UN PROCEDIMIENTO NUEVO PARA LA PREPARACION DE DERIVADOS ACETILENICOS Y ALENICOS DE 2-AMINOMETIL-(1-METILINDOLES). SE PARTE DE LOS CORRESPONDIENTES ACIDOS 1-METILINDOL-2-CARBOXILICOS QUE POR REACCION PREFERENTEMENTE CON PENTACLORURO DE FOSFORO EN ETER SE TRANSFORMA EN EL CORRESPONDIENTE CLORURO DE ACIDO, EL CUAL TRATADO CON AMONIACO O AMINAS CONDUCE A LAS RESPECTIVAS AMIDAS. LAS AMIDAS SE REDUCEN CON HIDRURO DE LITIO Y ALUMINIO, PREFERENTEMENTE EN TETRAHIDROFURANO A REFLUJO PARA DAR LAS CORRESPONDIENTES 2-AMINMETIL-(1-METILINDOLES), QUE SE ACILAN Y CARACTERIZAN COMO BASES LIBRES O ALGUNA DE SUS SALES, GENERALMENTE HIDROCLORUROS. FINALMENTE ESTAS AMINAS SE HACEN REACCIONAR LOS BROMUROS DE 2-PROPINILO, DE 2-BUTINILO Y DE 2,3-BUTADIENILO, EN PRESENCIA DE TERC-BUTILAMINA PARA DAR LOS N-(2-PROPINIL) N-(2-BUTINIL) Y N-(2,3-BUTADIENIL) DERIVADOS DE LOS RESPECTIVOS 2-AMINOMETIL-(1-METILINDOLES) QUESE CARACTERIZAN COMO BASES LIBRES O COMO ALGUNA DE SUS SALES. LOS COMPUESTOS FINALES OBTENIDOS SON ACTIVOS COMO INHIBIDORES DE MONOANIURO OXIDASAS.
