Abstract
Control device for pneumatically cleaning filters, comprising a valve arranged in a reservoir of compressed air and consisting of a valve element which can be pressed against the end of a tube which penetrates into the reservoir and which is connected to injection means for cutting off the communication between the reservoir and the said injection means, and which can be moved away therefrom in order to reestablish the communication. In order to be able to create sharp-edged pressure waves of short duration and at high frequency, to reduce the difference between the pressure in the reservoir and the useful pressure, and to decrease the wear on the movable element of the valve using such a device, the valve element consists of a ball 2 mounted with a clearance in the cylinder 3 which is located coaxially with the said tube 5, away from the latter, and the end of which furthest from the tube includes an annular seat 8 whose central opening 7 causes the inside of the said cylinder to communicate with the pilot valve 1 which makes it possible to connect the said cylinder either to a source of compressed air, or to the atmosphere.
