Abstract

PURPOSE: To compensate an abnormal stress that might be caused during operation by using a drawing rope with a rectangular cross section having a notch alternately at both sides and meshing a drawing sprocket with the drawing rope engaged therewith to gear by an intermediate elastic wheel and to prevent improper operation of the rope. CONSTITUTION: A drawing rope 1 has a rectangular cross section 5 with a notch 6 alternately at both sides, teeth 7 formed circumferential direction of a drawing sprocket 2 mesh with the notches 6, and a gear 3 is loosely fit to a center pin of a support structure 10. In the case of telescopic motion of a telescopic antenna 17, a motor 18 drives the gear 3 via pinions 19, 20, and a worm screw 21, the sprocket 2 connected by a spiral spring 4 is moved and the rope 1 is moved slidably in one or other direction. The spiral spring 4 placed between the gear 3 and the sprocket 2 absorbs a shock or a tear force caused by the caught rope 1 due to any cause or when the antenna reaches its limits or the like. Thus, improper operation of the rope is prevented and an abnormal stress that might be caused is compensated.
