ESTE PROCEDIMIENTO DE LIXIVIACION ACIDA ACELERADA DE MINERAL DE URANIO SE CARACTERIZA PORQUE COMPRENDE LAS ETAPAS SIGUIENTES: - SE TRITURA EL MINERAL DE URANIO EN PARTICULAS DE GRANULOMETRIA CUYOVALOR ES TAL QUE PERMITE OBTENER UN RENDIMIENTO DE PUESTA EN DISOLUCION DEL URANIO POR LO MENOS IGUAL AL 75% APROXIMADAMENTE; - SE REDUCEN LAS PARTICULAS A BOLITAS CON AYUDA DE UN LIQUIDO (BOLEADO); - SE LIXIVIA EL MINERAL DE URANIO ASI BOLEADO CON AYUDA DE UNA DISOLUCION DE ACIDO, DEBIENDO SER COMPATIBLES ENTRE SI EL LIQUIDO UTILIZADO EN EL CURSO DEL BOLEADO Y EL ACIDO UTILIZADO EN EL CURSO DE LA LIXIVIACION.
