Abstract

A probe is provided for determination of the phase transformations which occur in metals, generally at high temperatures, during cooling or heating. Due to the incorporation of an appropriate resonance circuit 6 having a coil 7 protected by a heat-resistant cooled structure 4, 5 which does not impede electromagnetic flux, the probe is sensitive to variations in certain physical characteristics connected with phase transformations which occur in metals.
