Abstract
A stretcher arrangement comprising a frame having at least two upper guides parallel to each other at the front and rear portions thereof, respectively, for a portion of tape movable on said guides for supporting a human body, the frame further comprising at least two parallel lower guides located at the front and rear, respectively, for a part of tape that is movable on said guides and that is able to touch the ground, said two tape moving parts, in operation, in the same sense with respect to the frame, characterized in that the two tape parts are part of a finite tape which is coupled, at its first end, to a first tape drum and, at its other end, is coupled to a second tape drum, the tape being guided from the first tape drum, on the two upper guides and then on the two lower guides, all this in such a way that the tape parts between the two upper guides and the two lower guides move in the same direction relative to the frame as the tape moves, there being also a drive mechanism for rotating at least that of the tape drums in which the tape is wound. .
