Abstract

Procedimiento para polimerizar hidrocarburos olefínicos, de una fracción de hidrocarburo que contiene más de 35 moléculas por ciento de olefinas, cuyo procedimiento comprende pasar dicha fracción de hidrocarburo a una temperatura de polimerización a través de una serie de lechos de catalizador polimerizante sólido, de creciente espesor en la dirección de la corriente de los hidrocarburos a través de aquellos;enfriar los hidrocarburos entre lechos sucesivos de catalizador, mediante mezclarlos con un material amortiguador de hidrocarburos que comprende una porción de los hidrocarburos descargados del último lecho de catalizador, de dicha serie, y fraccionando los productos efluentes de dicho último lecho de catalizador, para separar, de este modo, los polímeros, de los hidrocarburos no reaccionados.
