Abstract

Un neumático para ruedas de vehículos, que comprende una banda de rodamiento reforzada por una estructura inextensible en sentido transversal y circunferencial, y dos flancos que se extienden entre los márgenes laterales de dicha banda de rodamiento hecha así inextensible y talones aptos de ajustarse establemente en los bordes con pestañas de la llanta rígida de la rueda, caracterizado por el hecho que dichos flancos presentan una fuerte convexidad hacia el interior del neumático, con desarrollo lineal de sus ejes de figura, mayor que la distancia máxima que se puede presentar entre dichos márgenes laterales de la banda de rodamiento y dichas pestaña de la llanta, a la máxima excentricidad admisible entre dicha banda de rodamiento y dicha llanta, y una rigidez preso-flexional tal de impedir que la dicha convexidad cambie sentido bajo la presión de ejercicio y a la dicha máxima excentricidad, los dichos flancos presentando cada uno tres zonas, dos de las cuales adyacentes a dicho margen y respectivamente a dicho talón y la tercera esencialmente equidistante entre las primeras dos, en las cuales la rigidez flexional en los planos meridianos es de valor inferior a análoga rigidez de las restantes partes del flanes.
