Abstract
Un dispositivo de terminación de cable eléctrico para inhibir sustancialmente la ionización en los extremos de dicho cable, que comprende una capa de aislamiento que rodea a un conductor y unos medios de protección puestos a masa y dispuestos concéntricamente sobre dicha capa de aislamiento, caracterizado por la mejora que comprende un revestimiento semiconductor que tiene una característica de corriente lineal sustancialmente dominada al aplicar tensión eléctrica sobre dicha capa de aislamiento y que se extiende en una longitud predeterminada desde y en contacto con el extremo de salida de alta tensión en cada terminal hasta dichos medios de protección para establecer contacto eléctrico con dichos medios protección, teniendo dicho revestimiento una resistencia predeterminada por unidad de superficie suficiente para que el gradiente de tensión en la superficie de dicha longitud no exceda el valor de ionización de los terminales revestidos del cable.
