Abstract

The cylinder-head is comprised of a cylinder-head block (1) with at least one cylindrical bore (2) per cylinder or per group of cylinders, perpendicular to the axis of the cylinder and which houses a corresponding rotor (3, 4,) acting as a distribution valve. The rotor (3, 4) is cylindrical and comprises a traversing perforation (5) perpendicular to its longitudinal axis, susceptible of facing simultaneously an intake or exhaust port of the combustion chamber (11) of a cylinder and the fuel fluid inlet (6) or the exhaust outlet (6a), respectively, so that the flow of fuel or exhaust gas is always totally rectilinear. Said rotor (3, 4) is comprised of a solid, cylindrical body, provided with said traversing perforations (5) which are transverse to said body. Application to internal combustion engines, particularly petrol four-stroke engines as well as diesel engines.
