- the present invention relates to a housing for an electronic device. It is known from the prior art to produce a housing for an electronic device from at least two individual components. At least one of these two individual components is designed in the form of a trough, with the opening being closed off by a further component as required. In the simplest case, this component has a plan design, but housings with two trough-shaped components are also known, the openings of the two troughs then being placed one on top of the other. This production is associated with high costs and technical complexity. It is therefore the object of the invention to provide a housing which is simpler than that of the prior art and in which one housing half is designed in the form of a trough.
