Abstract

A method for assembling a wall-mounted heater (7) is proposed, comprising at least the following steps: a) assembling a spacer frame (1) made of universal components (11), b) hanging the heater (7) using the spacer frame (1) on a wall ( 6). A size-adjustable distance frame is also specified. Heaters (7) of largely any size can thus be hung using the spacer frame (1), with four corner elements (10) and at least two side elements (4) being joined together in step a).

Description

The invention relates to a method for assembling a wall-mounted heater, a spacer frame for attaching a heater, a heater and the use of universal components.

By arranging it on a wall, a heater can be installed to save space, for example in buildings without a basement or in an apartment. For this purpose, special mounting frames that are precisely tailored to the specific heater are provided, which usually enable media and connection lines to be fed to the back of the heater, i.e. between the heater and the wall. In the case of a new installation, a coordinated framework must usually be provided for the specific heater to be used. This is associated with increased logistical effort and costs.

This is explained in the CN213630987U a support frame is proposed which has a base plate and a receiving box for holding the heater. In addition to simple installation, the device is intended to simplify possible maintenance and repair work on the heater, as the heater can be easily removed from the device. The proposed device allows universal use for various heaters, but the size of the device, in particular the receiving box, appears unfavorable, since it must be suitable for larger heaters and have appropriate proportions, and brings corresponding disadvantages when installing smaller heaters.

The DE 296 15 114 U1 proposes a wall mount for a heater, with a frame that can be adjusted in height and/or width to adapt to different device sizes. Disadvantageously, the proposed framework requires a large transport volume.

The DE 101 14 506 A1 proposes a mounting unit for wall mounting a heater, which can be connected or connected to a dashboard and is divided into two mirror-image partial mounting plates, which can be connected vertically in at least two positions, each with an extension plate, and can be adjusted to the width of the heater by means of a device rack. The disadvantage is the complex adjustment to the dimensions of the heater and the complex use of a dashboard.

Proceeding from this, it is the object of the invention to propose a method for assembling a wall-mounted heater, an arrangement for attaching a heater and a heater which at least partially overcomes the problems described in the prior art. In particular, a simple installation of various wall-mounted heating devices should be made possible.

These tasks are solved by the features of the independent patent claims. Further advantageous embodiments of the solution proposed here are specified in the independent patent claims. It should be noted that the features listed in the dependent patent claims can be combined with one another in any technologically sensible manner and define further embodiments of the invention. In addition, the features specified in the patent claims are specified and explained in more detail in the description, with further preferred embodiments of the invention being presented.

A method for assembling a wall-mounted heater contributes to this, comprising at least the following steps:

1. a) Assembling a spacer frame made of universal components,
2. b) Hang the heater on a wall using the spacer frame.

Steps a) and b) can be carried out at least once in the specified order during a regular operational procedure. However, steps a) and b) can also be carried out in parallel or at the same time. The method serves in particular for simple and cost-effective assembly of various types of wall-mounted heaters, in particular wall-mounted heaters of different sizes.

The heater is any heater designed for wall-mounted installation. The heater can in particular be a gas heater, which can generate heat by burning a gaseous fuel, such as natural gas or hydrogen, and make it available to a heating circuit or a hot water supply. The heater can generally have at least one burner and a conveyor device that conveys a mixture of fuel (gas) and combustion air through a mixture channel of the heater to the burner. The combustion products can then be led through an exhaust duct of the heater to an exhaust system.

When installing or assembling such wall-mounted heaters, a distance must generally remain between the wall (on which the heater is to be installed) and the heater in order to allow for the supply of media or supply lines, such as an inlet and a return of a heating circuit. a cold water supply and a hot water drainage and/or a supply line for electrical energy.

According to step a), a spacer frame made of universal components is assembled (or plugged together).

In the context of this document, universal components are components from which different spacer frames, in particular spacer frames of different sizes, can be assembled. According to one idea of the invention, spacer frames of largely any size can be produced by assembling universal components. One idea of the invention is to provide (unspecific) universal components from which spacer frames of various sizes can be formed.

The universal components can be, for example, corner elements that can form a corner of the spacer frame to be joined and for this purpose form an angle, in particular a right angle. In other words, a corner element can be understood as two legs designed as a flat structure, which have a length and a width, whereby the width can correspond to the distance to be created between the wall and the heater and which are connected to form an angle, in particular a right angle.

Another universal component can be side elements that can be connected to the corner elements and can at least partially form one side (top, bottom, right or left side) of the spacer frame. For this purpose, the side elements can be flat structures which have a width corresponding to the distance to be maintained between the wall and the heater.

In order to assemble an individually adapted spacer frame for a specific heater, several identical side elements and/or identical corner elements can be selected according to the required size for the heater to be assembled. In step a), four corner elements and at least two side elements are put together.

According to an advantageous embodiment, the universal components can be made from any materials that have the necessary mechanical properties. In particular, the universal components can be made from plastic, possibly with fiber reinforcement, or metallic materials. A cost-effective example of this can be galvanized sheet steel.

In this context, it should be noted that corner and side elements of the same width are advantageously selected for a spacer frame in order to form a spacer frame that rests against the wall and heater with all universal components.

By putting together universal elements of different widths, spacer frames can advantageously be created for different distances between the wall and the heater.

According to an advantageous embodiment, at least one side part can be variable in length, in particular telescopic. Advantageously, a spacer frame of any side length can be produced on a horizontal or vertical side of the spacer frame when installed.

According to an advantageous embodiment, two side elements can be designed in such a way that they can be inserted into one another in the longitudinal direction and can thus be connected to form a side element of any size.

According to an advantageous embodiment, the side and/or corner elements can have connecting devices for connection to another side or corner element and/or for connection to the heater and/or for connection to the wall. Here, the connection devices can be used for connection to the wall or heater in particular Be openings to accommodate a screw connection. The connecting devices for connecting to a further universal component can also be devices for producing a screw connection, such as openings for receiving a screw, and/or devices for producing a plug connection, a clip connection and/or an adhesive connection.

According to step b), the wall-mounted heater can be mounted using the spacer frame or the heater can be hung on a wall using the spacer frame. For this purpose, the spacer frame assembled according to step a) can first be attached to the heater and then the heater with the spacer frame can be attached to the wall. Alternatively, it is also possible to first attach the spacer frame to the wall and then attach the heater to the spacer frame.

According to an alternative embodiment, steps a) and b) can also be carried out in combination. For this purpose, the universal components can be attached to the heater or the wall and joined together at the same time and then the heater with a spacer frame can be mounted on the wall or the heater can be mounted on the spacer frame attached to the wall. In this embodiment, a connection between the universal components can possibly be dispensed with, since step a) can be carried out by attaching the universal components to the heater or wall.

According to an advantageous embodiment, a spacer frame can also comprise two frame elements, for example an upper and lower frame element or a right and left frame element. The individual frame elements can include one or two corner elements and optionally side elements to form sides of the frame elements.

According to a further aspect, a spacer frame for mounting a wall-mounted heater is also proposed, comprising at least four corner elements and two side elements. The corner and side elements can be designed to be pluggable together, i.e. in particular they can be joined to one another (positively and/or non-positively) without additional joining means, so that they independently or alone form a (stable) spacer frame.

According to an advantageous embodiment, a side and/or corner element can have recesses for passing through a media or supply line.

According to a further aspect of the invention, a heater is also proposed, having a spacer frame presented here.

The details, features and advantageous configurations discussed in connection with the method can also occur in the spacer frame and/or the heater presented here and vice versa. In this respect, full reference is made to the statements there regarding the more detailed characterization of the features.

According to a further aspect, the use of universal components for forming a spacer frame of a wall-mounted heater is proposed.

Here, a method for assembling a wall-mounted heater, a spacer frame, a heater and a use of universal components are specified, which at least partially solve the problems described with reference to the prior art. In particular, the method, the spacer frame, the heater and the use at least contribute to simplifying the assembly/installation of a wall-mounted heater and minimizing costs. This means that an individually manufactured mounting frame for the heater does not have to be manufactured and ordered in advance of a (new) installation A specialist company can use a sufficient number of universal components to put together a spacer frame suitable for the specific heater.

Fig. 2 shows a spacer frame 1 formed from a first frame element 2 and a second frame element 3, which in turn were assembled from universal components 11 according to step a) of a method proposed here.

Fig. 3 showed a heater 7, to which the spacer frame 1, having a first and a second frame element 2,3, can be attached. This can be done as part of carrying out step b) of a method presented here, whereby then the heater 7 can be attached to a wall 6 in such a way that there is a distance between the wall 6 and the heater 7 for media and supply lines 5.

Method for assembling a wall-mounted heater (7), comprising at least the following steps: a) assembling a spacer frame (1) made of universal components (11), b) hanging the heater (7) on a wall (6) using the spacer frame (1), with four corner elements (10) and at least two side elements (4) being joined together in step a). Method according to claim 1, wherein in step a) the assembly takes place by means of a plug connection. Method according to one of the preceding claims, wherein at least one side element (4) is variable in length and its length is adapted to the heater (7) to be installed. Method according to one of the preceding claims, wherein in step a) two frame elements (2,3) are joined together, each comprising at least two corner elements (10) and one side element (4). Spacer frame (1) for a wall-mounted heater (7), comprising at least four corner elements (10) and at least two side elements (4), which can be plugged together. Spacer frame (1) according to claim 5, wherein at least one side element (4) is variable in length. Spacer frame (1) according to one of claims 5 or 6, wherein at least one side element (4) has at least one recess for the passage of a media and/or supply line (5).
