Bevorzugt grenzen an alle Schneiden Schrägflächen an. It is intended that the pocket has a locking opening into which a locking projection of an upper broad side of the plate engages. With this measure, the plate is secured in a locking manner within the pocket. It is particularly advantageous if the plate can be pulled out of the pocket by overcoming a locking force in the direction of extension of the handle. The plate is preferably made of an elastic material and preferably forms at least one cutting edge. This cutting edge can be used to rework a joint filled with a joint compound. It is particularly advantageous if this cutting edge adjoins another cutting edge, forming a corner, in particular an obtuse-angled corner. It is advantageous if the pocket is designed as a trough. The trough can form a bottom wall against which the upper broad side of the plate can rest. The upper broad side forms the locking projection approximately in its middle. The locking projection can fill the locking opening, which is preferably formed by the bottom wall of the pocket, in such a way that an edge of the locking projection rests on the edge of the locking opening. It can be provided that side walls adjoin the bottom wall, against which edges of the plate rest. Preferably, these edges of the plate adjoining the side walls are also formed by cutting edges. The locking opening can have a circular, polygonal, oval or other outline. The locking projection resting on the edge of the locking opening can be circular or have a corresponding outline of the locking opening. It can be designed as an annular rib, which has an outer wall that rests on the edge of the locking opening, and which can have an inner wall that borders a trough-shaped depression. A web can lie opposite the bottom wall of the pocket. The web can extend freely over the tub in the manner of a tongue. The web is preferably made of an elastic material so that it can be elastically bent. The web can rest on a lower broad side of the plate. The web can thus exert a locking force on the plate, the upper broad side of which has the locking projection. When the locking projection is moved out of the locking opening, the web can move elastically away from the bottom of the tub. The The web has lateral edges that are spaced from the walls of the tub. The walls of the tub can run at an angle so that the slanted surfaces of the plate can rest against the walls. A free end of the web can have a curve. The radius of the curve can essentially correspond to the radius of the locking opening. It can be provided that a semicircular arc formed by the free end of the web lies at least almost congruently behind the circular locking opening. The head can have a width that is greater than the maximum width of the handle. The length of the handle is preferably greater than the width of the head. The length of the handle can also be greater than the length of the head. Preferably, the head borders on the handle, forming a waisted neck. The handle can be hollow. But it can also be solid. Preferably, the plate can be inserted into the pocket in different rotational positions. In the different rotational positions, different cutting edges protrude from the pocket. These working cutting edges are in front of the opening of the pocket. They are assigned to a section of the elastic plate protruding from the pocket, so that this section of the plate protruding from the pocket can deform elastically. This working cutting edge can be adjoined by lateral cutting edges that run at an angle to the working cutting edge. This can be an obtuse angle. It is also preferred that in a first rotational position of the plate a first cutting edge lies in front of the opening of the pocket. Another first cutting edge, which can lie in front of the opening of the pocket after the plate has been turned over by 180 degrees, lies in the area of one end of the pocket in the first rotational position of the plate. This cutting edge lies opposite the other cutting edge in relation to the locking projection. These two first cutting edges can have cutting edges that run parallel to one another. Second cutting edges can be adjoined to the respective first cutting edges, which adjoin the first cutting edge at an obtuse angle. The two second cutting edges can be of the same length. Further second cutting edges can be provided that adjoin the other first cutting edge. The respective angles at which the second cutting edges border on the first cutting edges can be different depending on the side of the plate. Preferably, the plate has a folding symmetry, wherein the axis of symmetry can run through the respective centers of the first cutting edges and through the center of the locking projection. Third cutting edges can also be provided which have cutting edges running parallel to one another, which in turn can run at right angles to the cutting edges of the first cutting edges. Preferably, all cutting edges are bordered by inclined surfaces. The tub has side walls which the inclined surfaces can border on. An area of the base wall bordering the opening of the pocket can have a curve. The curve can run coaxially to the curve of the locking opening or to the curve of the web. The side walls of the tub are set back from this curve of the pocket base in the direction of the handle.

The cutting tool consists of a plate 20 made of an elastic material. The Figures 5 and 10 The plate 20 shown has first cutting edges which are formed by first cutting edges 22, 23. The first cutting edges 22, 23 are opposite one another in relation to the extent of an axis of symmetry 14. The axis of symmetry 14 runs at right angles through the respective centers of the first cutting edges 22, 23. Second cutting edges 24, 26 are provided, which each adjoin the first cutting edges 22, 23, forming an obtuse angle. The angle at which the second cutting edges 24 adjoin the first cutting edge 22 is smaller than the angle at which the second cutting edges 26 adjoin the first cutting edge 23. However, the angles can also be the same size.

Die dritten Schneiden 25 verlaufen parallel zur Symmetrieachse 14.Third cutting edges 25 are provided, which are each adjacent to second cutting edges 24, 26 and which run parallel to one another. The third cutting edges 25 run parallel to the axis of symmetry 14.

The plate 20 has a lower broad side 28 which has a larger surface area than an upper broad side 27 opposite the lower broad side 28. While the lower broad side 28 is completely flat in the exemplary embodiment, the upper broad side 28 is flat except for an annular elevation. The annular elevation forms a locking projection 21. The center point 16 of the annular locking projection 21, which is formed by a rib in the exemplary embodiment, lies on the above-described axis of symmetry 14 and a further axis or center line 15 which runs through the centers of the third cutting edges 25.

All cutting edges 22, 23, 24, 25, 26 merge into inclined surfaces 22', 23', 24', 25', 26', whereby the inclined surfaces merge into the upper broad side 27, forming an obtuse angle, and into the lower broad side 28, forming an acute angle and the respective cutting edge.

The holder has a handle 1, to which a head 2 is connected, forming a waisted neck 3. The handle 1 has a length and a cross-section such that it can be comfortably grasped by the hand of a user. The head 2 has a head surface on which the thumb of the user's hand can rest. The head surface can have an opening 10 through which a section of the upper broad side 27 of the plate 20 is accessible when the plate 20 is in a pocket 4 formed by the head 2. A section of the plate 20 projects over an opening 5 of the pocket 4 pointing away from the handle 1. This section of the plate 20 forms the first and second cutting edges 22, 23, 24, 26, with which joint compound can be smoothed or cut. The thumb of the user's hand can rest on the plate 20 through the opening 5.

The pocket 4 is formed by a tray 8. The tray 8 has a tray base 9 which forms the opening 10. The opening 10 is preferably a locking opening into which the locking projection 21 of the plate 20 engages. The edge of the rib which forms the locking projection 21 in the embodiment and runs along a circular arc line rests against the edge of the locking opening 10 in the locking position.

Walls 6, 7 are connected to the bottom 9 of the tub, against which the inclined surfaces 25', 24' or 26' of the cutting edges 24, 25, 26 can rest. The walls 6, 7 are connected to the bottom 9 of the tub at an obtuse angle. Two walls 7 extend from the neck 3 at an angle to an axis of symmetry 14 of the handle 1 and merge into walls 6 running parallel to the axis of symmetry 14 of the handle 1, which extend to a center line 15 running through the locking opening 10, the center line 15 running transversely to the axis of symmetry 14 extending through the center point 16 of the locking opening 10 and also through this center point 16.

The opening 5 through which the plate 20 can be inserted into the pocket 4 is connected to the walls 6. The edge of the base wall 9 pointing away from the handle 1 runs on a circular arc line which is concentric to the center 16 of the locking opening 10.

At a distance corresponding to the material thickness of the plate 20, the base wall 9 is overhung by a web 12 shaped like a tongue, which is rooted in the area of the neck 3 and which extends freely over the tub 8. The two opposite edges 12' of the web run freely over the tub when the plate 20 is not inserted in the pocket. While the upper broad side 27 of the plate 20 rests against the base wall 9, the lower broad side 28 of the plate 20 is supported by the web 12. The web 12 can be elastically so that - by pressure through the locking opening 10 on the upper broad side 27 - the locking projection 21 can emerge from the locking opening 10 accompanied by a bending of the web 12.

The web 12 has two straight edges 12', which merge into a circular arc at the free end 13 of the web 12. The circular arc runs concentrically around the center point 16 and, in the embodiment, has a radius that is only slightly smaller than the radius of the edge of the locking opening 10, so that the edge of the free end 13 runs almost congruently along the edge of the locking opening 10.

Die Ränder 12' des Steges 12 sind Verlängerungen dieser Ränder des Handgriffs 1.The edges of the handle 1 run at an acute angle and in a straight line from the free end of the handle 1 to the neck 3. The edges 12' of the web 12 are extensions of these edges of the handle 1.

While the walls 6 running parallel to one another form guides when inserting the plate 20 into the pocket 4, the walls 7 running at an angle to them can form centering flanks. A first cutting edge 22, 23 located at the rear in the area of the pocket end 11 can be supported on a supporting flank of the pocket. The cutting edge 22, 23 can also freely engage in a cavity in the pocket 4, which can, for example, be connected to a cavity in the handle 1. Pressure forces exerted on the plate 20 in the direction of the handle 1 can thus be diverted into the handle 1 via the inclined walls 7.
